The Process
Using Adobe Express was new to me so it was a learning curve I easily overcame due to my familiarity with Illustrator and Photoshop, which I also used for my cutouts. Each collaboration I featured I made sure my designs aligned with the brand so it was cohesive. It was mildly time consuming but probably one of my favorite projects I have ever done due to how much freedom I had with creativity and how visuals were the most important. I did a small amount of research since that was required to add and was able to add quotes and include his background information. One of my design goals was to make it seem like this could be seen in a magazine. I love to take on that approach for design style, and I feel that can be seen on my site as well.
Outcome
I was extremely happy with the outcome of this project and how I was able to bring my ideas to life in design about one of my favorite artists. My professor was very impressed with my work and asked to use it for future examples for her students. I felt comfortable doing this type of designing because when I have independence in projects I feel I thrive the most. I was able to unlock a new skill in mastering Adobe Express while learning more about what I like in art direction and creation.
